Knights Commercial Laundry installed a new and modern Continuous Batch Washer into the old laundry building in March 2006.  This not only improves quality and productivity, but also reduces Health & Safety issues, water and energy use.

In October 2007, Knights Commmercial Laundry installed an AQUARECYCLE Water Recycling system from the USA. This reduced water use from 105,000 litres per day, to less than 40,000 litres per day.

Knights Commercial Laundry is dedicated to environmentally friendly practices and water conservation.

LAVATEC 10 module Batch Washer - Processing 50kg of Linen every 144 seconds;

4 x LAVATEC Gas Driers - Efficient, fast drying capacity;

JENSEN Express 2 Roll Steam Press - Capable of processing at speeds of over 10 sheets per minute;

BURTON 4 Roll Steam Press - Over 40 years old - presses all our small stuff (serviettes, pillowcases and table cloths);

JENSEN Classic Folder - Folds and stacks the sheets;

JENSEN Towel Folder - Folds and stacks our towelling items;

2 x MILNOR 200kg Front Load Washer/Extractors - Washes 200kg of linen per load;

1 x IPSO 30kg Front Load Washer/Extractor - Wash 30kg of linen per load (ideal for small loads);

AQUARECYCLE Water Recycling Plant - Currently recycling over 80% of our waster water fo re-use in the laundry.
